Mr. Dickt serves as IFSA's Executive Director for the Washington D.C. area office. He has over 25 years of experience in senior financial positions for both publicly listed and privately held multinational corporations based in the USA, Asia-Pacific, and Europe. Mr. Dickt has lived and worked for many years in both Asia and Europe during his career in the pharmaceutical, cosmetic and consumer product industries.

Prior to joining IFSA, Mr. Dickt held several positions for the Netherlands based trading company, Hagemeyer N.V. He joined the Company in 1986 as Vice President-Controller with the task of reorganizing the accounting and management information systems departments as well as leading the other corporate department heads in rationalizing the overall headcount for the corporate office. Instituting sweeping changes in the accounting and management information systems departments, he reduced the management reporting cycle of approximately 60 worldwide entities by 85% while increasing the accuracy of reporting and instituted detailed product line P&Ls. Through the use of technology, corporate headcount in both of these departments was reduced by 23%. The improvements in reporting and budgeting during Mr. Dickt’s tenure allowed the Company to embark on a strategic divesture plan of non-core subsidiaries and an aggressive acquisition plan that resulted in double digit growth in revenue and net income. In 1989, Mr. Dickt was transferred to the USA as CFO of the newly formed Specialty Foods Division. The division reached $250 million in revenue from a base of $25 million in revenue, through acquisition and organic growth during his two and half years. In 1991, Mr. Dickt assumed the position of Vice President Finance for the $425 million revenue North America Specialty Foods and Electronics Division.

Prior to joining Hagemeyer N.V., Mr. Dickt was the Controller at Estee Lauder International, Inc. from 1981 – 1986. In that capacity he was in charge of budgeting, reporting, IT and accounting functions for the $475 million international division of Estee Lauder, Inc.. In addition, he participated in the expansion and establishment of wholly owned sales and marketing, and distribution subsidiaries in Europe and Asia. Mr. Dickt had responsibility for the three strategically located international manufacturing facilities within the Group. Prior to that he was with Sterling Drug, Inc. where he served as Regional Controller of the Asia-Pacific Region based in Manila, the Philippines and Latin/South America Region based in Coral Gables, Florida.

In his capacity as Executive Director of IFSA, Mr. Dickt is Chair of the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors of IFSA Data Storage, Inc. He has also held board of director positions with several captive insurance companies for both USA and European multinational corporations. He is a member of the Institute of Management Accountants and Financial Executives International. Mr. Dickt holds his MBA in General Administration from Rutgers University and a BS in Accounting from Villanova University. He is an active member of the board of the non-profit Chantilly Youth Association Babe Ruth and is an assistant coach for a 14U Babe Ruth travel team.
